Who are we?
Vaveyla Culture, Art, and Education Association, also known as Soyle Boyle Atolye and Vaveyla Art Ensemble, embodies a collaborative effort led by experienced cultural professionals and activists devoted to advancing societal values through artistic expression. At our core lies an unwavering commitment to raising awareness of pressing contemporary issues, with a particular emphasis on LGBTQI+ rights, challenges faced by women and children in today’s society, environmental concerns, and democratising access to the arts.

Why puppet?
Our strategic choice of puppetry as a medium underscores our commitment to equality, diversity, inclusivity, and sustainability. Since November 2023, Soyle Boyle Atolye has been serving as a hub for artistic synthesis in the form of a physical puppet and art studio space, hosting activities ranging from puppet performances and art exhibitions to talks, all underpinned by our unwavering commitment to environmental problems, human rights, and queer advocacy.
